WHO ARE YOU?

In order to know who, you are you must first understand who you are not. You are not your past mistakes. You are not what others decide to refer to you as. You are NOT your most challenging times. Do not reduce yourself to this or allow others to do the same. You have so much value. You were created for greatness. Your life has a purpose. Once you realize who you are you can tap into your infinite potential.

Let’s be honest we have all fallen short of God’s grace, yet he continues to bless and keep us. You cannot be labeled by what you have done thus far because none of us have arrived. Life is a marathon not a sprint. In other words, we are all on the road to becoming. Yes, the road can be lonely, yet you are not traveling alone. On that road you experience both progression and processes. While progression is the ultimate goal, the processes are imminent to ascension.

You are blessed and highly favored.

You are a survivor.

You are victorious because even in losses you gained priceless experience.

Refer to yourself as these things! In other words, begin manifesting the life of your dreams.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • What does your future life look life?

  • What are the desires of your heart?

  • What vision has God given you?

  • What goals are you currently pursuing?

  • What would you be doing in life if money were not an object?

God calls us what we will be while we’re wrestling with what we were and what we did.
— Bishop T.D. Jakes

You have a new beginning and its time that you relinquish the past. Continue climbing because your work is not done. You have just begun to scratch the surface. Sure, the wait is daunting and seems as if it will never end. Almost as if you are in a holding pattern, making no progress.  Keep in mind that change occurs internally before it begins externally. During the wait focus on personal growth and self-development. Your faith muscle is being strengthened, and you must trust God because he is all knowing and has the perfect timing. In strengthening your faith muscle your patience will also increase. What seems like punishment is actually preparation for the next dimension. And before you know it, you will be living the life you were once praying for. Never forget who you are, and whose you are even when life as you know it seems to be in a complete and utter disarray.

Keep this scripture in both your head and your heart.

Psalm 139:14 NLT Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it.
