BELIEVING BIGGER IN 2022 & BEYOND — Inspiring And Empowering Ladies

I had the pleasure of watching Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey written and directed by David E. Talbert with my daughter as it has become one of our favorite Christmas movies. To be honest, it’s my all time favorite. We watched it last year when it premiered on Netflix on November 13, 2020. Madalen Mills is a phenomenal actor along with Forest Whitaker, Anika Noni Rose, and Phylicia Rashad.

In life, things will happen that will make us question our belief in ourselves and our abilities, but no matter what we must continue to believe and believe bigger! Believing in what seems impossible to others because they don’t have our drive, vision, or ambition. When our beliefs match our effort, anything is possible and we can achieve our wildest dreams! There is more in store for you and there’s more in store for ME! Children’s belief systems are out of this world. Their imaginations are busy imagining, their brains are busy inventing, and their hands are busy creating. Yet, as adults, we lose our touch of magic simply because we are jaded by our current reality.

People will try to steal your recipe, yet they don’t have your special sauce, they don’t have your divine favor. That is exactly what apprentice Gustafson did when he stole Jeronicus Jangle’s latest invention, Don Juan Diego as well as his book of inventions. Don Juan Diego was projected to positively impact him and his family’s life forever. For those of you who haven’t seen the film, Jeronicus Jangle is an inventor, toymaker, and owner of Jangles and Things. As a result of this loss, a multitude of horrible things occurred in Jeronicus’s life. His wife Joanne died, his daughter grew distant, and he falls into financial hardship, which leads to the bank threatening to repossess Jangles and Things.

Journey breaks out into song and dance throughout the movie, but in one particular song, before she begins to work on Buddy 3000, an invention her grandfather Jeronicus had given up on, she drops so many jewels that we all can adopt and adhere to in our own lives, some of which are:

“Nothing says I can’t.” When nothing says you can’t including yourself, you CAN.

“The square root of impossible is me.’ If it seems possible you are relying on your strength, when it seems to be too much to conceive you’re operating with God’s strength.

“It’s all possible, if only you believe.” Remember when Jesus allowed Peter to walk on water.”

“Don’t go underestimating me.” Don’t allow others to underestimate you, and don’t underestimate yourself. Always be willing to bet on yourself.

“I don’t need a hero to come save me.” You are who you’ve been waiting for.

“I might not be there yet, but I’ll get there because I’m already three feet off the ground.” Everything I need to succeed is already within me!

“Lock the windows and the doors I’ll take the roof off and soar.” When in motion towards purpose we are given wings to soar.

“The rules that are written are only just the beginning there’s so much more.” You can defy the odds and shatter the glass ceilings.

“Don’t tell me there’s too far to go, I know that I’m unstoppable.” Never allow anyone else to determine your path. The only thing stopping you is YOU.

“I’m ready now, nothing’s going to slow me down.” Keep the momentum going upward onward and forward.

“Watch me rise high above my obstacles.” Being solution oriented is how you overcome each and every obstacle.

“Watch me become who I’m supposed to be.” Because you are possible, it is possible.

It’s easy to lose hope due to the vicissitudes of life, and in those moments we must continue to Faith It Until We Make It. It won’t be easy, but you have a say in how your story ends, and you don’t have to succumb to defeat when you are capable of being victorious. We won’t always get it right but as long as there is breathe in our body, we can make amends! Don’t allow anyone to steal your joy! All the time spent investing in your dreams will be worth it in the end! Everything that was once stolen will be returned. You are stirring with something sensational and spectacular in 2022 & Beyond if only you believe!
