Self Love Journal

Many people believe they know what love is, yet they do not speak to themselves in a loving manner and they do NOT require that others treat them with the love and respect that they deserve. Often people tend to refer to toxicity, hate and dysfunction as love. They believe love hurts and it should be painful and that is the furthest thing from the truth. According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Self love requires a conscious and committed effort. The love we give ourselves sets the tone for the love we receive from others! When you love yourself you will not compromise your standards. You are less likely to indulge in reckless, self destructive behavior because you exercise good judgment. When you love yourself you will not seek attention, approval or validation from others. This journal will help you confront the issues which have caused you to be stuck in a loveless relationship with yourself. The ultimate goal of the Self Love Journal is to maximize self love, self worth, self esteem, dignity, and healthy relationships while restoring confidence. While completing this journal my prayer is that you will begin loving yourself more than ever before!
